If you have children in a school you probably have some of these- school photos. They are a great keepsake for parents allowing them to see how much change occurs in their child from one year to the next. One day your child will be reminiscing with the class photos from each year. I still look at my school photos chuckling.

Long gone are the days of boring school photos. School pictures should be just as fun as the children themselves. One might need to spend a little bit more time with each child, but it is so well worth it! You need to engage the child, talk to her, ask her questions, get silly and see what works. Each child responds differently and it is up to the photographer to figure her out.

This was my third year taking photos of the children from Azalea Mountain School, a school based on Waldorf education in West Asheville, and I enjoyed it tremendously each time.
